Mountain Hollow Crystals
Natural Sulfur and Aragonite/Sulphur (1980’s Collection-Classic Locality)
This stunning natural sulphur and aragonite specimen came from a 1980’s era collection, and originated from the classic deposit- the now closed Machów Mine in Tarnobrzeg, Podkarpackie Voivodeship Poland. This area has since been filled with water to create a reservoir/lake.
These specimens have beautifully intact rhombohedral sulfur crystals, which can be a rarity as most sulphur crystals tend to break down, or “melt” in within their natural deposits.
*handle with care as sulfur is naturally soft (1.5-2.5 on the Moh’s scale)and keep away from water .
