Rubellite with Smoky Quartz Palm Stones / Pebbles

Rubellite is also known as Red Tourmaline, it’s name being derived from its similarity to the color of Ruby…although most are found more on the pink side than red. Most is found in Brazil, such as these, but good specimens have also been found in Africa as well as California and Maine in the US.

These large palm stones measure  61mm-69mm and weigh approx 200g each.
