Septarian Nodule (Dragon’s Stone)Free Form

Septarian Nodule is referred to as Dragon Stone.  This concretion is comprised of Aragonite (brown), Calcite (yellow), and Limestone (grey). The name comes from the word “Septaria”, which refers to any concretion with internal cavities or cracks. This mineral was formed millions of years ago during Earth’s Cretaceous period.
