About Us

Mountain Hollow was established in 2019, primarily offerings collector’s crystals and minerals, but we’ve evolved so much since then!

What started as an online shop based out of our Waterford Connecticut home has blossomed into a small storefront for in-person shopping. We’re located at the historic Velvet Mill in Stonington, Connecticut in South Studios #7. The Mill is repurposed and home to a thriving creative community of artists, entrepreneurs, and businesses including a farmer’s market, artisanal bakery, award-winning nano-brewery, bistro style restaurant and more. Visit us in person Saturdays 10AM-5PM or Sundays 10AM-3PM. Of course we’re always open online 24/7 with in-store pickup available.

Classic elements of earth, fire, air and water blend with a touch of celestial and artsy vibes…a place that encourages creativity and reverence for nature while adding joy and comfort to your life.

We recognize the importance of ethical sourcing so we do our very best to consciously source. We focus on offering goods processed with higher standards, and hand-select whenever possible to ensure only items of the highest quality find their way to you.

Our Earth-Friendly Focus

We use eco-friendly packaging wherever possible and always recycle packaging that’s mailed to us. Green-Wrap is used instead of traditional bubble wrap, and we opt for recycled content bubble mailers with a tear strip and dual peel-and-seal, which allow them to be reused at least once before being recycled again. We also partner with Clovery to offer carbon shipping offsets. More information on this partnership can be found within our blog posts.

Our Offerings

Within our shop you’ll find a selection of oracle & tarot decks, a botanical apothecary, jewelry, bath & body, books, art prints, home decor and other products for you and your space. We offer a small selection of rocks and minerals, including rare finds and stock over 100 varieties of tumbled stones. Our future plans include hosting various enrichment workshops and creative classes that align with our vision of creating an environment that encourages connection with self, nature and creative arts.
